One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time returns for its final season with Archie (Carroll O'Connor) still as irascible and highly opinionated as ever arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," (Rob Reiner) and taking refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith (Jean Stapleton), who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs. All in the Family ran on CBS for 9 seasons strong and spawned the spinoffs Maude and The Jeffersons, both successful television series also created by legendary TV producer Norman Lear.
